A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital re-dislocated the congenital hip of a nine-year-old girl with a successful operation, while the case was complicated due to the delay in performing it.
The specialist in orthopedics, fractures and joints, Dr. Burayr Muhammad Ali al-Asadi, "We have ended the suffering of a nine-year-old girl who was suffering from a congenital hip dislocation, which continually caused her to have movement problems," describing this case as "complicated because the child is very old and she did not have an early re-dislocation operation."
Al-Asadi added that "the necessary tests were carried out and the requirements for the surgical intervention process were prepared, to re-dislocate this girl's hip," adding, "The operation took place as required and successfully without any obstacles or complications," noting that "the girl left the hospital and is in a good health condition."
