Date of Imam Hussein's 40th Memorial Pligrimage Coincides Every Three Decades

Dec 24, 2014 is the date of the Imam Husasein's 40th memorial occurs every three decades. Especially, it occurs in a same A.D. year according to the difference of days between the A.D. calendar and the A.H.

This year, Kerbala witnessed a great flock of pilgrims constantly arriving in Kerbala in order to offer their rituals on the Imam Hussein 405th memorial pilgrimage.

It's been mentioned that the pilgrimage of the previous year witnessed more than 17 million pilgrims who arrived in Kerbala.
