A group of Tikrit University students: Our presence at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine gave us an incentive to continue our scientific journey

The Department of Public Relations at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has received more than (120) students from Tikrit University, as part of its program for receiving student delegations affiliated with the Al-Kafeel National Youth Project.

The University and School Relations Division of the aforementioned department has prepared a special program for this delegation, beginning with welcoming them and congratulating on the occasion of their graduation, then giving them a simplified explanation of the department’s work in general and the department and its projects in particular, and an overview of its activities, whether it is at the level of the university and educational centers, which is held with the support and direct supervision of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

This is according to what was shown by the supervisor of this program, Professor Muhammad al-Hamdani from the mentioned division, and confirmed to Al-Kafeel Network that “This is part of the program for receiving delegations of students, whether they are graduates or continuing their studies, as it included more than (120) students from different faculties and sects, all of which gathered under the dome of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).”

He added, "The program included a visit to the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and a tour of their two holy sanctuaries and their corridors, then a tour in the al-Kafeel Museum for Treasures and Manuscripts. After that they took a meal in the name of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) that the delegation ate in his host restaurant.

In the same context, the coordinator of the University Relations Division accompanying the delegation, Mr. Sajjad Nayef Abd al-Karim, told the Al-Kafeel Network, that “the visit and tour of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), are part of the (Maaref) initiative established by the Association for University Communication, so this was a good opportunity to meet in these students in this holy place, which was a motivation and a moral dose they derived from the two holy shrines to continue their scientific journey and serve this country, as strengthening and perpetuating this connection works to develop the spiritual and human aspect of the student. And in the name of the delegation, I would like to thank the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for their hospitality."

It is noteworthy that the program for receiving student delegations from students of Iraqi schools, universities and institutes is supervised by the University Relations Division in the Public Relations Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and it continues throughout the year and is part of the Al-Kafeel National Youth Project.
