The servants of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) celebrate the birth anniversary of lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)

The courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) witnessed after the Maghreb and Isha prayers for this Friday (5 Jumada al-Thani 1443 AH) corresponding to (10 December 2021), the annual central celebration to commemorate the auspicious birth of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), which is held by the intellectual and cultural Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and the Hussayni rituals and processions department in the two holy shrines.

The ceremony, which was attended by a number of visitors celebrating this occasion and a group of servants of the holy shrine, began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran recited by the reader of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Laith al-Obaidi.

This was followed by a speech of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, delivered by Sheikh Dakhel al-Nouri from the Religious Affairs Department of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in which he highlighted parts of the blessed biography of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), explaining her status and great role starting from her birth up to supporting her brother Imam al-Hussayn (may God’s peace be upon him) and the missionary role that she played after his martyrdom in the tragedy of Ashura, and how she became the tongue of the Hussayni renaissance. He also talked about the abundance of her knowledge, as she is the graduate of the Prophethood and Imamate school and its extension, and how she was an example of chastity, hijab and patience.

After that, the poets Muhammad al-Talib and Zain al-Abideen al-Saidi presented their poems in honor of the auspicious anniversary.

The ceremony concluded with the Radoods, Ali Abd al-Hussayn and Muhammad Amir, to recite poems expressing the joy of the believers on this auspicious occasion.
