A celebration of the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)

The Hussayni Women Speech Division at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a women celebration; To celebrate the birth anniversary of the heroine of Karbala; Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), in the courtyard of her brother; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of a group of visitors as well as a number of servants of the holy shrine.

The official of the aforementioned division, Mrs. Taghreed al-Tamimi, told Al-Kafeel Network, that "the celebration is part of the activities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, to celebrate this auspicious memory of the birth of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her). The celebration started with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a lecture delivered by one of the Division's orators, in which she highlighted glimpses from the blessed biography of this great personality, who represents lofty, greatness, purity and chastity."

She added, "This was followed by a theatrical show which chapters dealt with the story of the blessed birth of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), after which an intellectual competition started, in which the attendees participated. The celebration included also the presentation of poems and chants about the love of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her); the heiress of the School of Prophethood and Imamate. "

The festive event was concluded by raising the palms of supplication to the Almighty, praying for the hastening of the reappearance of the Awaited Imam (may God hasten his holy reappearance) and the preservation of the Islamic nation in all parts of the earth.
