The important presence of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the Seventh International Book Fair

The participation of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the Seventh International Book Fair, the activities of which are currently being held by the al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine, next to the shrine of the Imam al-Jawad and Imam al-Kadhem (may God's peace be upon them), witnessed an active presence in this great cultural event.
The pavilion, which represented the Holy Shrine in which the two departments of intellectual and cultural affairs and the affairs of Islamic and human knowledge included a variety of publications of religious, cultural, academic, and historical heritage, as well as other books of children, and other books on women and general culture, and they were in the form of general and cultural books in the form of encyclopedias, books, and refereed periodical and quarterly magazines that addressed all groups, and contributed to the dissemination and promotion of the culture of reading.
The pavilion was visited by many societal groups, because the books displayed in it are unique, as they are written and designed by the authors of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which is an important and attracted factor.
After touring the pavilion, Mr. Abu al-Hassan al-Gharifi from Najaf Governorate said: “It is a beautiful thing to find these diverse publications, rich in ideas that nourish and meet the needs of all groups. The publications of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine were an important tributary for the researcher and the library, with scientific and knowledge content. We ask God to grant success to those in charge of this work, which we hope will develop.”
For his part, Mr Ahmad Abdel Qader from Baghdad added, "The publications we found in the pavilion are the best evidence of the great intellectual and cultural movement witnessed by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."
In the same context, Sheikh Ali al-Sammar said that "the pavilion is a lush garden in which everything meets the intellectual and cultural taste of the fair's goer, with various topics characterized by modernity and scientific presentation that contribute to the advancement and support of its level."
It is noteworthy that the participation in this important cultural forum with more than (500) titles, is one of the previous and ongoing participation in a number of international and local exhibitions, in order to contribute to the dissemination of the culture of reading books, in addition to informing the exhibition goers of the most prominent intellectual and cultural products of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in various fields.
