A women’s mourning gathering in memory of the death of Sayed al-Qasem son of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon them)

The Hussayni Women Speech Division at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a women's mourning council in which it recalled the death of Sayed al-Qasem son of Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him), which anniversary was on Monday, the 22nd of Jumada al-Ula, at its headquarters in the Siddiqa Tahira Center (peace be upon her) for women's activities, in the presence of a number of servants at the Holy Shrine, and the invited mourners.

The council began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by poems recited by two students from the Hussayni Institute of Public Speaking, affiliated with the aforementioned division, which verses embodied the gleam of this memory.

After that, there was a lecture given by the preacher Zainab Abdel Hadi, one of the staffs of the division, in which she shed light on what the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) faced, from oppression and injustice, which no human being could bear, and the persecution reached extreme psychological and physical oppression, forcing them to flee, including Sayed al-Qasem (peace be upon him).

She also highlighted his relationship with his father, Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him), and how he grew up in the house of revelation and grew up in the arms of the Imamate, and his father, Imam al-Kadhem, loved him very much, in addition to the story of his departure from Madinah to Iraq and how al-Qasem reached the city of Sura, concluding with the incident of death and its accompanying events. The lecture was concluded with an elegy for his death.

And the conclusion of the assembly was by reading some of the supplications, and reading his blessed Ziyarat (peace be upon him), and then reading the Dua al-Faraj for the relief of the Master of the Order and Time, Imam al-Hujjah (peace be upon him).
