The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine adds more than a thousand square meters to the shrine of Sayed Ismail in Karbala to serve its visitors

The staff of the Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has completed adding service areas of (1250) square meters to the shrine of Sayed. Ismail, east of Karbala, in order to contribute to providing resting places for its visitors and increasing its aesthetics.
The official of the Construction Machinery and Equipment Division in the aforementioned department and the supervisor of these works, Mr. Hassan Abd al-Hussayn, told Al-Kafeel Network: “Based on the directives of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, and in response to the request of the Shrine secretariat, our department formed a work team in order to start these works, which include adding resting spaces for visitors, as despite the influx of large numbers of them, there's lack of spaces designated to provide services to them and perform their worship rituals there.”
He added, "The first stage of the work was to conduct a field inspection of the area to be added, determine its needs and make a plan for it, then we will remove the rubble and waste and clean it completely, after that we prepared the area to create green spaces.”
And Abd al-Hussayn indicated that "the added space that is located next to the shrine included corridors that are four meters wide and an area of (200) square meters, green spaces and resting places with lighting, watering systems and others."
