Starting the first steps for the construction of the Holy Quran Institute building in the Al-Najaf Governorate

The Engineering Maintenance and Constructions Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, started the first steps of the establishment of a new building of the Holy Quran Institute of the Scientific Complex for the Holy Quran, in the neighborhood of al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in Najaf Governorate.

The establishment of the project is the result of the institute’s expansion in the scope of its activities, which do not match the building it currently occupies.

The Department of Engineering Maintenance and Construction has ensured the establishment of this building, according to designs prepared for this purpose, and in a manner consistent with the area specified for it, which is (325 square metres). It includes several floors divided into classrooms and others for administration, in addition to service rooms.

The staffs of the Construction Machinery and Equipment Division in the department, after defining the required area, began leveling the land and removing rubble, followed by other works such as excavation of construction works.
