Parachuting into the Area Between Imam Hussein & El-Abbas Holy Shrines is a New Activity

Activities of demonstrating faithfulness to Ahlul-Bayt (PBUT) have been varied, and every single year, many activities are added to the Husseinian activities. This year was remarked with parachuting into the area between the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines.

The parachutist was Shakir Mohammed Es-Sa'idi, who is originally from Baghdad, Iraq and a British citizen, parachuted into the area between the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, and on the Imam Hussein's 40th memorial. With this jump, he hit the record of being the first person who performed such a new activity in Kerbala.

He parachuted from 2500 feet height. His jump was number 4008, and it was different due to parachuting with the "O' Hussein" banner.
