The demolition of buildings adjacent to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) continues

The work undertaken by the staff of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to demolish a group of previously owned buildings, in preparation for adding their space to serve visitors and improve the services provided to them.
The buildings that are being demolished are located on the northeastern side of the Holy Shrine, specifically in the area between the Euphrates Gate - Al-'Alqami - and the Gate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) - Bab Al-Kaf -.
The works are also carried out very meticulously, because these buildings are connected to each other, and the space that separates them from the outer wall of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is rather close, in addition to the presence of buildings close to it on its back side.
All of these factors led the technical committee supervising these works to develop a well-studied plan to overcome these obstacles, by following a technical method respecting the principle of public safety and accuracy in implementation using specialized mechanisms that ensure that the buildings adjacent to it are not damaged on the one hand, and the safety of workers is preserved on the other hand.
