In response to a distress call: The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provides a village in Karbala with a clean water station (R.O station)

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine responded to a call made by the residents of Al-Shati village in the al-Hindiya district of the Karbala governorate, to provide them with a water desalination plant (R.O station) with a production capacity of 2000 liters / hour, in order to contribute to alleviating the burdens of its residents and to meet their need of clean water.
The Water Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has undertaken the implementation and construction of this station, in proportion to the population size and their actual need of water. It is one of the many stations built by the Holy Shrine inside and outside the governorate.
The head of the aforementioned department, Engineer Diaa Majid al-Sa'egh, told Al-Kafeel Network, "This station was initiated after obtaining approval from the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, where a site inspection of the village was conducted and an estimate of its water needs, in addition to choosing a suitable site for field installation of the station. After that, the installation work began."
He added that "the Holy Shrine is keen to adopt service initiatives that affect the needs of the citizen, through the establishment of a series of projects, including desalination plants (RO), where the number of plants established by more than (25) stations inside and outside Karbala, including this station, which will provide its services to a large number of citizens in this region and the surrounding areas.”
Al-Sa'egh explained, "The station has a high operational efficiency. It was also provided with tanks with a capacity of 20,000 liters, to store the water it produces on the one hand, and on the other hand it is supplied with raw water."
