The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine holds the central celebration for the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held in the square between the two Holy Shrines, the central celebration of the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali (peace be upon him), this Monday evening (12 Rajab 1443 AH) corresponding to the eve of the blessed birthday on February 14, 2022.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Ammar al-Hilli, after which Surat Al-Fatihah was recited in tribute to the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq. Then came the speech of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine delivered by the member of its board of directors; Dr. Abbas Rasheed al-Mousawi.

The celebration included the recitation of poems of the two poets Hamza Hussein 'Abadi and Mustafa al-Rikabi, followed by the poems of popular poetry of the poets Mustafa Al-Rikabi, Firas al-Asadi and Abu Muhammad al-Mayahi.

The conclusion is to be held by drawing the lottery for the (Waleed Al-Kaaba - peace be upon him) cultural competition, which was prepared by the Media Department in cooperation with the Religious Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

It is worth noting that a number of departments of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have combined efforts to hold this celebration in the most beautiful way, in a manner befitting the size and position of this occasion, under the supervision of a central committee headed by the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Sayed Mustafa Dea' al-Din, with the participation of the Senior Official’s office represented by its director, Dr. Afdhal al-Shami.

In addition to the departments of the Holy Shrine, such as the Departments of Engineering Maintenance and Construction, the Public Relations and the Media, in addition to the care of the Holy Shrine, the Square between the Two Holy Shrines, the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, the Religious Affairs, Service Affairs, the Division of Care of the Holy Sanctuary, in addition to the Al-Kafeel Center for Advertising and Marketing, in addition to other departments.
