Removing a tumor extending from the neck to the brain at Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the success of removing a large tumor in a patient in her forties.
The specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, Dr. Khaled al-Sarraj, said, "Our medical team succeeded in the operation to remove a hemangioma extending from the base of the skull to the neck, as well as from it to the brain and spreading in the arteries of the brain."
Al-Sarraj indicated, "The tumor was completely removed from the 42-year-old patient, and she is now in good health," noting that "the presence of modern technologies in the operations halls of Al-Kafeel Hospital, the distinguished medical team and the experienced nurses contributed to controlling the condition during the operation, as well as in the follow-up of the case after the operation."
