Spinal Scoliosis Adjustment at the Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital affiliated with the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that it had successfully corrected spinal scoliosis for a sixty-year-old patient.

The Lebanese specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, Dr. Amer Sab’ali, said, "Our medical team succeeded in correcting spinal scoliosis (scoliosis and curvature of the spine), for a 63-year-old patient," noting that "she had a scoliosis rate of 35%." The patient suffered from a narrowing of the spinal cord accompanied by severe pain, which made her unable to lead her life normally."

Al-Sab’ali pointed out that "the operation took five hours, with the help of a distinguished medical team and skilled anesthesiologists, in addition to the presence of modern technologies that encouraged us to perform the operation," stressing also that "the operation was successful and the patient is now in good health."
