The Holy Qur’an Women’s Institute opens new courses

The Women's Holy Qur'an Institute of the Scientific Academy of the Holy Qur'an at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has opened six new Qur'anic courses for (111) students.
The head of the courses at the institute, Professor Masooma al-Kashmiri, said: "We opened four electronic courses for women inside Najaf Governorate, which bore the names of (Al-Batool -peace be upon her-, Noor al-Quran, al-Istabraq, and Butterflies), and included (79) female students, and this number was divided according to age groups."
She added that "there are two other courses opened as well, one for women in Karbala, which bore the name (Ya'soub al-Din) for (24) students, and the other for women outside Iraq bore the name (the Holy Qur'an) and gathered (8) female students."
It is noteworthy that these courses are divided between courses in the Tajweed courses and others in memorizing the Holy Book of God.
It is also worth mentioning that the courses depended on the distance learning system, to provide the opportunity for women to learn the Noble Qur’an in any place and at a suitable time, so as not to affect women's family responsibilities and preoccupations.
