Visitors are walking to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam al-Kadhem - peace be upon him –

Thousands of visitors from the far south of Iraq set out towards the capital, Baghdad, on foot to visit Imam al-Kadhem - peace be upon him - on his martyrdom anniversary. And while they are carrying the banners of condolences, their hearts are filled with grief and their eyes filled with tears along the way to the holy shrine of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).
A few days ago, the road linking the governorates of Basra and Baghdad witnessed a massive march of pilgrims, who came to commemorate this calamity, which is considered one of the greatest and most tragic calamities that befell the immaculate 'Itrah (Ahl al-Bayt -peace be upon him-), namely the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).
Service processions spread out along the road, to get the honor to provide the necessary services of the visitors of the martyred Imam, peace be upon him.
The representatives of the Hussayni processions affiliated with the Department of Rites and Hussayni processions in the governorates these visitors pass through demonstrated the mobilization of all their efforts, amid high coordination with the security and service authorities.
It is reported that thousands of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) lovers responded to the call of their oppressed and murdered imam Musa Ibn Jaafar al-Kadhem (peace be upon them) on his martyrdom anniversary on the twenty-fifth of Rajab.
