The people of Karbala commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) at his holy shrine in Kadhemiya

Yesterday, Saturday, the united procession of the people of Karbala commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) at his holy shrine in the holy city of Kadhemiya, in cooperation and coordination with the Hussayni Rites and Processions Department of the two holy shrines.

A number of Karbala’ Husseini parties and bodies participated in the mourning procession, in addition to a group of the people of the province, offering their condolences to the awaited Imam, al-Hujjah Ibn al-Hassan (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), on this sad occasion for the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) that happened on the twenty-fifth of Rajab in the year (183 AH).

After a march in which the mourners lined up in groups, they set up a council of mourning and memorial services in the courtyard of the shrine of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them).

It included reciting a number of poems and elegies embodying the depth of the painful tragedy and great affliction, sharing the comforting crowds with words of grief and expressions of sadness as they extend their condolences to the people of the House of Infallibility (peace be upon them).
