At the two holy shrines: mourning processions offering their condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him

Since the early morning hours of this Sunday, the Karbala mourning processions have arrived at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), to offer condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).

According to a plan drawn up by the Hussayni Rites and Processions Department in the two holy shrines, the launch of these processions, at their forefront the procession of the people of Karbala, was from the old city, most of them carrying a symbolic coffin towards the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), where they extend their condolences.

Then they march through the square between the two holy shrines towards the shrine of the Master of the Martyrs (peace be upon him), chanting elegies expressing their grief over this painful tragedy, to conclude this march in the courtyard of the master of the martyrs, Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) with expressions of condolences.
