With hearts filled with sadness, a unified procession of the servants of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) including the officials and employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was launched on the 25th of Rajab 1443 AH corresponding to February 27, 2022 to extend their condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas on the martyrdom anniversary of seventh of the infallibles Imams; Imam Musa son of Ja'far al-Kadhem (peace be upon them all).
The procession was proceeded by the symbolic coffin from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing by the area between the two holy shrines, chanting slogans and poems that expressed the feelings of sadness on the anniversary of this tragic event. And once they arrived to the holy shrine of the Master of the martyrs Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), the servants of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine were welcoming them to hold a lamentation condolence council, in which elegies were recited about the injustice lived by Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).
It is to note that the sorrows of the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) are revived with the martyrdom anniversary of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) on the twenty-fifth of the holy month of Rajab, recalling the calamities that befell on him like a sweeping torrent since the martyrdom of his father Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), and Harun the Abbasid taking the reins of power, who was known by his extreme hostility to the descendants of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household), and who worked on the forced disappearance of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) as he has put him in underground prison cells that were unprecedented in history in terms of cruelty and violence.
He then began to jail the Imam in Basra then to many other prisons until his last prison; the Sindi prison in Baghdad, where he ordered to chain the Imam (peace be upon him) with thirty pounds of iron chains, in which he remained shackled until he (peace be upon him) was martyred by poison.
