Al-Kafeel University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Commission at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, ranked second in the Iraqi Ranking of Universities (IRU), over private universities and colleges in Iraq.
The specialists in this file have conducted a comprehensive evaluation of thirty-six public universities and forty-seven private universities and colleges, including eight hundred and seventy-five specialized colleges, and one thousand and twenty-nine scientific departments.
The results published on the website (http://mohesr.gov.iq/ar/iru) showed that Al-Kafeel University ranked second among private universities and colleges.
And the preparations for the standards of the Iraqi classification of universities were through the study and deep analysis of the indicators of the various international classifications, taking into account the specificity of Iraqi universities, where national indicators were devised and the weighting of those indicators.
Aware of the requirements of quality and academic accreditation, Al-Kafeel University will continue its procedures and policy in developing its performance, improving its programs, measuring its outputs and its relevance to global developments.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi ranking of universities project adopts international quality standards, in order to spread the spirit of scientific competition between universities, colleges and departments, with the aim of improving the educational process by improving its environment and enabling its students to master in various fields of work, improving the performance of its faculty members and highlighting their scientific achievements, by publishing their research in reputable scientific journals and periodicals, and winning scientific prizes and others.
