The “Sponsor a Talent” project honors a talented man who has entered the Guinness Book of Records

The management of the (Sponsor a Talent) project, emanating from the Public Relations Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, honored the talented young man Saeed Howaidi from Karbala governorate.

He is a young Karbalai who entered the Guinness Book of Records for drawing the largest painting in the world with threads and nails. He is talented in the field of philographic art, whose tools are based on thread and nails.

The project manager, Mr. Amr al-Ola al-Kafaei, told Al-Kafeel Network: "To encourage support for young talents and work to refine and develop them, which is part of our project plans, this young man was honored, as a contribution from us to support his artistic career and work to develop it further."

For his part, the artist Saeed Howeidi explained: "Being honored by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, will give me an incentive to continue this artistic path, as they gave me this honor for the artistic works and achievements, which were achieved by Karbalai youth hands that raised high the name of the country in International forums. My future work will focus more on the heritage designs that represent the identity and symbolism of the ancient city of Karbala.”

It is mentioned that the project is the first of its kind in Iraq, and works on two axes. The first is to embrace and develop the talents of orphans, in coordination with charitable institutions, and the other axis is to support and embrace the talented youth. The project has achieved good results so far following a well-studied plan in line with the objectives and purpose of the project and the general situation in which we live.
