The staff of the Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine made, and is still making, at the same pace, exceptional and unparalleled efforts to transmit and cover the events of the mid-Shaban Ziyarat, devoting all its human and technical means to place the recipient in the heart of the event in the city of Karbala and its holy shrines, which are visited by millions of pilgrims.
The Assistant Head of the Media Department, Mr. Ali al-Badri, told Al-Kafeel Network, "The department has begun implementing its plan to cover the rituals of the blessed mid-Sha'ban Ziyarat, through a series of technical steps by the staff of the department's media centers and divisions, which contribute to the dissemination and documentation of the Ziyarat, each according to its specialization and in an integrated manner."
He added, "The media coverage was on several axes, including the direct broadcast from inside the Holy Shrine and between the Two Holy Shrines, for prayers and Ziyarat rituals, via free frequency (HD) without logo, for the benefit of dozens of satellite channels inside and outside Iraq, and through the Al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production, which also worked on preparing Reports, coverage and breaks related to the Ziyarat, by producing a series of television programs on the occasion and making them available to all parties wishing to benefit from them."
He explained, "Also, the AlKafeel Global Network - the official website of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine - took the lead in this coverage, in addition to the social networking sites supporting it, as it is a source for many websites."
Al-Badri stated, "The team of photographers in the department also had made exceptional efforts, as they were able to provide the websites of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine with news images, in addition to publishing high-resolution artistic images on (Www.alkafeel.tv) and the Al-Kafeel Global Network website, as well as social media platforms."
He continued, "The department provided, as usual, in each Ziyarat season, facilities and logistical support to dozens of correspondents and journalists, who participated in covering the course of this Ziyarat and the services provided to visitors, through the department's media coordination center."
