Hundreds of female visitors to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) benefited during the Sha`ban Ziyarat, from the diverse services provided by the Qur'anic Unit of the Religious Reporting Division at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
Ms. Fatima al-Moussawi stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "We have prepared a plan to invest this occasion in a way that will benefit the visitors, and we have presented a package of services within an integrated program that combines field presence in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to suit the age groups."
She added, "On the field side, we have formed groups of the unit's cadres working on:
- Correcting the recitation of Surat al-Fatihah in the form of a competition, with gifts for the winners of the best correct and accurate recitation.
- Forming discussion panels for a group of young female visitors, which dealt with the concept of waiting and explaining our role towards this period in which we live, reinforced by a publication entitled (The Function of People in the Absence of the Imam), to contribute to the consolidation of the correct concepts of real "waiting", and to know and cross-fertilize ideas in order to increase the knowledge for this category.
- Distributing paper to write a letter and supplication for Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) on the anniversary of his blessed birth.
- Presenting congratulations in the form of greeting cards with educational instructions and social advice written on it, along with bouquets of roses and pieces of candy.
- Distributing booklets in which the numbers of the thirty parts [Juz'] of the Noble Qur’an are written, and gifting the reward of reading them to the Imam (may God hasten his reappearance).
Al-Moussawi indicated, "On the electronic side, we have invested this space, by conducting Qur'anic Khatmahs and cultural questions centered on the Mahdism issue, in addition to uploading an electronic link to read Surah Yaseen and dedicate its reward to the Master of the Order and Time (may God hasten his holy reappearance)."
