The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has an imprint in the activities of the International Agricultural Week

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine made a distinguished presence and a clear imprint in the activities of the thirteenth agricultural week, which is currently being held on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair under the slogan: (Protecting and supporting the local product is a guarantee for achieving sustainable food security), with a package of its products of fertilizers and pesticides, in addition to the agricultural products and its modern technology used in its manufacture and production.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was represented in this important international forum with a unified pavilion:

- Al-Joud Company for Modern Agricultural and Industrial Technology, which presented models of quality multi-use fertilizers, some of which hold a patent registered in the name of the company, in addition to environmentally friendly bio-pesticides, which contribute significantly to the advancement and development of the agricultural sector.

- Al-Kafeel Company for General Investments, which displayed samples of its various agricultural products of seasonal vegetable crops and dates, in addition to its animal products of white meat and others, in addition to displaying samples of 100% natural honey, produced according to the latest technologies through Al-Kafeel apiaries group.

- Al-Liwa International Company, as it displayed samples of its outputs from strategic projects, such as the Al-Saqi and Al-Firdaws project for wheat registered in its name in the Agricultural Research Department, and potatoes with high specifications and nutritional value, in addition to displaying the modern mechanisms and techniques used in operating these projects.

This participation, according to those in charge of these pavilions, comes within the directions of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in order to contribute to supporting the local product by presenting and introducing its products. Also, this participation is considered one of the important means of communication and to see the latest developments reached by others in these areas.



It is noteworthy that the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is a continuation of its series of internal and external participations in specialized local and international exhibitions, and presents its contributions to achieving self-sufficiency in strategic crops, and providing the necessary requirements for the sustainability of the agricultural process and the agricultural sector, which is the mainstay that contributes to enhancing national security by ensuring food security for the country.
