Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital begins implementing the latest electronic management system

Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced this morning that it has started implementing the latest electronic system for its management, after it was completed by the staff of the Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology and Skills Development at Al-Kafeel University.
The announcement was made through a ceremony held in the hospital conference room under the slogan: (Iraqi creativity is an inexhaustible source), in the presence of the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtada Dia al-Din, his deputy, and a number of its officials.
The ceremony was inaugurated with a blessed recitation pf verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech of the CEO of Al-Kafeel Hospital, Dr. Jassim al-Ibrahimi, through which he explained the intensive efforts made by the medical and nursing staff in the hospital to serve the patients, pointing out that the hospital aspires to develop its services more and keep pace with the development taking place at the present time, referring to the human values ​​of the hospital’s staff, which are among the priorities of work.
Al-Ibrahimi reviewed the hospital’s goals that have been achieved and that it seeks to achieve, and also indicated the great support provided by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine to the hospital, which contributed mainly to the medical successes achieved by the hospital, indicating the most important services provided by the hospital’s electronic system to patients, at the level of accuracy Data preservation and ease of handling and obtaining information, in addition to the fact that the system accomplished by the staff of the Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology is an Iraqi innovation that the hospital is proud of.
After that, there was a speech by the President of Al-Kafeel University, Prof. Dr. Nawras al-Dahan, in which he said: "This system is the first health technology system in Iraq, as its first idea dates back to 2017, under the guidance of His Eminence the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi."
He added, "As soon as His Eminence directed that the software, and technical staff working in the Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology of our university took the initiative to analyze, design, and then program the system, after a continuous work that lasted for five years, the launch of the hospital management system."
Al-Dahan continued, "We have the right to be proud of this system, which parallels the systems in international hospitals, to have a significant contribution to improving the quality of services provided at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital to all patients."
And he indicated that "this elaborate system allows hospital staff to do many things, the most important of which is following up on the patient's condition and issuing a report on his health status upon leaving the hospital, as well as the process of managing health insurance and dispensing treatment by pharmacies inside the hospital."
The President of Al-Kafeel University explained, "The program is characterized by accuracy and reliability in the calculations, and the speed in retrieving the results that ensures ease of dealing with the data," stressing that "the program was completely implemented with purely Iraqi expertise, without the help of foreign or external expertise."
The ceremony concluded by honoring the contributors and implementers of this program.
