The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors a group of the wounded fighters of the Fatwa of Defense

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored a group of wounded fighters of the Fatwa of the Sufficient Defense, this Friday afternoon (20 Sha'ban 1443 AH) corresponding to (March 25, 2022).
The honoring ceremony was held under the slogan: (Loyalty to the Living Martyrs) in the hall of the Sheikh Al-Kulayni Complex of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in the presence of its Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, its general secretary, members of its board of directors and heads of its departments, in addition to personalities who represented many parties, as well as the honored wounded fighters of the fatwa and their families.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, in which the audience listened to the reader, Sayed Haider Gelokhan, then recited Surat al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by listening to the national anthem and the chant of the Holy Shrine (The Melody of Pride).
After that, there was a word for the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.
Then there was a speech of the honored wounded fighters, delivered on their behalf by Sayed Rasul al-Mousawi, in which he said: “My brothers today, the battle is very fierce, and it is a frightening battle and its causes are clear, and the enemy is clear, and we have no hope of survival except to stick to the real scholars and not others, for some claim knowledge but do not have it. Hence, we are in a dangerous and important stage, and we, as a popular mobilization, responded to the fatwa of sufficient defense, and today we must also respond to the religious authority and the directives of scholars, especially the directives of our master Sistani...”
The ceremony also included poems delivered by the poet Ali al-Saffar Al-Karbalai, the poet Ali Sahib al-Ajibi and the poet Muhammad al-Hashemi, followed by a short film showing a page of the liberation of the land of Iraq from the clutches of ISIS gangs, to conclude the ceremony by honoring a group of the wounded fighters.
