The Forum for Documenting Extremism Crimes in Iraq concludes with several recommendations

The activities of the first specialized forum titled (Documenting Extremist Crimes in Iraq: Its Methods, Mechanisms, and Challenges), which is held by the Iraqi Center for Documentation of Extremist Crimes of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in collaboration with the Mulla Kabeer Research Center at Koya University, concluded this Tuesday afternoon.
The conclusion included a reading of a number of recommendations made by the participants in the forum, presented by the Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Aqeel Abdul-Hussein al-Yasiri, and they were as follows:
1- The need for official government agencies to cooperate with research centers specialized in documenting crimes of extremism, by making documents available and facilitating access to them.
2- Activating the role of Iraqi universities in documenting the crimes of extremism that Iraq has experienced, through writing letters, theses, scientific research, and holding seminars, workshops and conferences.
3- Forming a higher committee of ministries, institutions and centers that possess documents on crimes of extremism, to be the nucleus of a national archive specialized in this.
4- Holding an international conference specialized in documenting the crimes of extremism.
5- Launching a number of competitions such as the best author in documentation competition, the best film competition, the best photographic image, and the best artwork.
6- That this forum be an annual forum that coincides with international events concerned with combating extremism and terrorism.

In the end, the participants and contributors to the forum were honored.
