Early preparations take place at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him)

For more than two days, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has witnessed intensive preparations to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), which is celebrated on the fifteenth of this blessed month.

"The holy month of Ramadhan is special and very important, and it is including the anniversary of the birth of Kareem Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him), so our preparations were early and intensive to revive and show this occasion in the most beautiful and exquisite image," said Sattar Hashim Abdul Ali, head of the Holy Sanctuary Division to the Al-Kafeel Network.

He added, "We worked to give touches and atmosphere in line with this anniversary, which pleased the messenger of Allah (Allah’s prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), where the staffs of the department decorated the corridors of the Holy Sanctuary of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and highlight the manifestations of joy".

He explained, "A set of banners supplied by the sewing division were hung at the holy shrine, which showed some of the virtues of the imam (peace be upon him), and were distributed at the entrance to the Qibla gate of the holy shrine in addition to the Iwans of the holy shrine, as well as the preparation of light flyers and arrange the Quranic platform.”

"Our staffs have also prepared hundreds of blessed gifts from the perfume of the holy shrine, and the roses of the Blessed birth with pieces of candy accompanied by words of congratulations, and will distribute them on the eve and day of the birth anniversary to the visitors," he said.

On the other hand, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine prepared a central celebration Forum, in addition to sponsoring and participating in the central annual cultural festival of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) in the city of Hilla, as well as providing lectures and festive events.
