The masses of believers revived the second blessed night of al-Qadr, in an atmosphere of faith and spirituality, from the vicinity of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
Visitors who came from inside and outside the province of Karbala early this Friday, the eve of the twenty-first of the holy month of Ramadhan, to commemorate this blessed night, which coincides with the sad and tragic anniversary, which is the night of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful and the Master of the Guardians; Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
They performed the acts of this night collectively or singly as they prayed to God and begging him with palms raised to heaven and eyes covered with tears, in repentance and sincerity, yearning to be freed from the fire.
The acts of this night took place at the holy shrines and in the square between them, amid full alert by the staff of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to harness all the security and service means, in order to perform these rituals with ease, whether inside or outside the holy shrine.
The rituals began with the reading of the Dua Iftitah, the great Jawshan supplication and the supplication of raising the Holy Quran over heads, as well as some other supplications and dhikr for the revival of Laylat al-Qadr, in which there is a great reward, and many narrations urge to read them during these blessed nights.
