The Department of the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced that it provided (51,340) Iftar and Suhoor meals to visitors to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), during the blessed nights of Qadr and the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and continues to provide this service until the end of the holy month.
Adel al-Hamami, head of the Department, stated to Al-Kafeel Network that "the provision of these meals and the honor of serving visitors is part of the plan developed for this holy month, which provides the best services for fasting visitors, including Iftar and Suhoor meals, and has taken an upward trend to reach the peak in the blessed nights of Qadr (19, 21, 23), and coincided with the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him)".
He added, "We identified stations for the delivery of Iftar and Suhoor meals, and the distribution was carried out smoothly, especially in Suhoor meals, where this time is witnessing a state of congestion after the completion of the work of the blessed night of Qadr, so we developed a station near the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in addition to the existing outlet there, for the distribution of these meals".
He pointed out that" the preparation of meals is don early by the staffs of the department, in a way that makes the meals meet the taste of the visitor, who seeks to eat this food in order to get the blessings of the Lord of Generosity; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), " stressing "We continue this service throughout the days of the holy month until its last day.”
