The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine invites 400 orphans and families of the martyrs of the security forces for an Iftar banquet

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine hosted a group of orphans and families of the martyrs of the security forces and other families in the province of Karbala, as part of the program of its public relations department during the holy month of Ramadhan, which is dedicated to hosting this group of society to thank them for preserving the security of Iraq.

"The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has been hosting orphans and families of the martyrs of the security forces, according to a schedule and plan developed by its public relations department for this purpose, which began since the first days of the holy month of Ramadhan," said Mr. Samir al-Kuraiti, head of the internal relations and Coordination Unit.

He added, "This time we developed a program for 400 orphans and their families, which included a visit to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and a tour in Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and manuscripts, in addition to the establishment of a Iftar banquet prepared for them by the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.”

"This program is carried out in coordination with coordinators in each region in Karbala province, and the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is responsible for transporting them back and forth," he said.

For his part, the coordinator of this program, Haj Saher Hassan, on behalf of these families, expressed his deep thanks and gratitude for this initiative, which came to complement the previous humanitarian initiatives in this blessed month, explaining that this initiative has had a great impact on the souls of these families and orphans.
