Using Periscope technique, Resection of a tumor of the larynx at Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital succeeded in removing a tumor from the throat of a fiftieth patient, while the operation was performed by Periscope technique.

"We recently performed an operation to remove a tumor from the throat of a 53-year-old patient," said Dr. Nazim Omran, an ENT specialist at the hospital.

"The patient had problems with the vocal cords," he said.

"The modern devices and medical techniques available in Al-Kafeel hospital's operating rooms have helped the medical team to perform the operation in a very short time, and within a short period of time the patient recovered," said Omran.
