President of the Lebanese Islamic University: we aspire to build bridges of cooperation with the academic institutions of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine

Dr. Hassan al-Laqis, president of the Lebanese Islamic University, said that we aspire to build bridges of cooperation and joint work between our university and academic institutions at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in a way that benefits both sides in view of what we have heard of the development in its scientific and academic level.

He made this statement during his visit to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and his meeting with the director of the Office of the Senior Official; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, who outlined to him the most important features of the universities belonging to the holy shrine, namely the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed Universities, which made them among the advanced universities in Iraq. He also highlighted the most important teaching methods used in their faculties, in addition to the good results achieved in their scientific and academic outputs, and shed light on the plans followed to achieve total quality in this field.

Dr. al-Laqis praised this achievement of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, pointing out that this visit will be followed by other field visits in the coming days, to look more closely at these academic institutions.

The tour included a visit to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which is the first for him, and he conducted a tour of their blessed corridors, and listened to a brief explanation of the most prominent urban projects and services provided to visitors, especially as we are in the holy month of Ramadhan.
