Farewell o month of righteousness and charity!

The Holy Shrines of the Master of martyrs; Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) bided farewell with these words to the holy month of Ramadhan in the holy city of Karbala, in the hope that the Almighty will accept the good deeds of the believers and bestow upon them His mercy until the next year.

As an annual tradition, the readers of the two holy shrines recite the words and poems of bidding the farewell of the holy month that are broadcasted through the loudspeakers on the minarets, to create a beautiful spirituals atmosphere letting the visitors feel the bitterness of bidding farewell to the holy month of mercy and blessings mixed with the happiness of Eid.
