The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organizes a tour to visit Karbala hospitals’ patients on Eid

The public relations department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, organized a tour of the Karbala's governmental and private hospitals, as part of the Eid program that will continue for three days starting on Tuesday (1st Shawwal 1443 AH) corresponding to (3 May 2022), in order to congratulate them on this occasion of Eid.

A member of the board of Directors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and supervisor of the Department, Haj Jawad al-Hasnawi, stated to Al-Kafeel Network that "this program was based on the directives of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its secretary general, urging the importance of communication between all members of the community, as ordered by our religion, especially with the patients who are lying in hospitals, to share the joys on this happy occasion".

He added, "a delegation was formed for the visit of patients, which consisted of the head of the department and its staff, and we were keen to congratulate them on this occasion, offering them wreaths of roses and blessing gifts from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), accompanied by the greetings and prayers of his servants that God gives them healing, health and wellness".

"This event had a clear impact on the patients, and we contributed to draw a smile on their faces, and helped to raise the spirit of hope in them and raise morale to overcome this stage, and the visit of children on the day of Eid and their greeting radiates joy in their hearts," he said.

He stressed that "the program was not limited to this only, but we also greeted the nursing staff who watch over their comfort and health, as we also presented gifts to give them an atmosphere of joy as they carry out this noble human service".

In turn, the patients and nursing staff urged the visiting delegation not to forget them from praying for them at the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine, in addition to expressing thanks and gratitude to those who operate this program, because of its great role in drawing a smile on the faces of patients and alleviating their pain.
