Conclusion of the Al-Kafeel National Forum for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications

The activities of the Al-Kafeel National Forum for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications, held by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by its public relations department(university and school Relations Division), concluded on Thursday afternoon at the Imam Al-Mujtaba Hall (peace be upon him) at Al-Ameed University.

The closing ceremony was attended by the director of the Office of His Eminence the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Dr. Afhdal al-Shami, a number of its officials, in addition to representatives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research and the Ministry of Education, delegations representing some universities and directorates of education from various governorates of Iraq, as well as participants in the forum competition.

The closing ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the chairman of the forum competition evaluation committee and the director of the entrepreneurial projects department at the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Youssef Khalaf Youssef, in which he stressed that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is always a patron of creativity and innovators through its qualitative projects. And this forum is only a proof of what it has adopted, as it is a qualitative forum held for the first time in Iraq where two generations of higher education and education meet at the table of creativity and invention in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics. This was followed by the announcement of the winners of the forum competition, and they were as follows:

University student winners:

First: designing a robot to diagnose air flow, for Muhannad Shaker Mahmoud from Mustansiriya University.

Second: designing a drone to measure air pollution, for student Ismail Laith of the Iraqi university.

Third: designing a smart helmet for refinery workers, for student Hassan Hadi Khader from Tikrit University.



Winners from Ministry of education students:

First: the design of a laser device (CNC), for student Laith Mohammed Tariq from the third Directorate of Karkh.

Second: a linear tracking robot, for student Zainab Ali al-Shamaa from the third Karkh Directorate.

The third: the mask and the smart muzzle, for the student Ali Zainuddin Ahmed from the education of Nineveh province.

The third BIS: the project to reduce the spread of bulk animals, for the student Mustafa Essam from the Education of the first Rusafa.



After that, the winners of the competition were honored, as well as the preparatory and scientific committees for the forum, in addition to representatives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, representatives of universities, the Ministry of education and its directorates, as well as supporting bodies for the establishment of this forum.
