Cultural competition at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine Pavilion at the Tehran International Book Fair

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine pavilion and the Imam al-Hussayn’s (p) holy shrine Pavilion at the Tehran International Book Fair held an intellectual competition for visitors to the fair.

The competition is in form of a variety of intellectual and historical questions distributed on paper to the visitors of the pavilions, and placed in special boxes after the visitor finishes answering them.

On the closing day of the fair, a draw will be held to determine the six winners, who will have the honor of visiting the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Karbala.

This competition is one of the most prominent events of the two holy shrines pavilions in the said fair, and has witnessed a wide turnout by the visitors of the exhibition in previous editions, as in the current edition.

This competition comes within the objectives of the two holy shrines in spreading the thought of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and promoting religious and historical culture in Islamic societies.
