A lecturer of Al-Ameed University participates in conducting a diagnostic cerebral catheterization of a patient with a stroke

The Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine/ Al-Ameed University, affiliated with the Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Dr. Ghazwan al-Tai participated in performing a qualitative operation in the diagnostic cerebral catheterization of a patient with a stroke, in collaboration with Dr. Abbas Kanbar Koser, a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine/ Maysan University. The operation was conducted at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in the province of Karbala.

Dr. Ghazwan al-Taie stressed that "these operations are qualitative operations, and were previously conducted outside Iraq exclusively for their sensitivity and danger, while the Iraqi medical staff began to conduct them during recent years in some advanced medical centers inside the country, including the success of our team in conducting this operation".

He pointed out that "cerebral catheterization operations are considered advanced and modern operations, especially for patients suffering from thromboembolic and hemorrhagic stroke".

He explained that" one of the factors of success of this operation are the skill of the medical and nursing teams and the quality of medical devices, and the available capabilities and accurate and advanced tools and devices, "noting that "these operations include many treatment sessions for cerebral arteries for people with strokes".
