Japanese Ambassador to Iraq: al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine projects impressed me

Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Kotaro Suzuki and his accompanying delegation visited the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine on Wednesday morning, and were received by its secretary general, Sayed Mustafa Murtadha Dea-Uddin, and a number of members of its board of directors and officials.

After welcoming the visiting delegation, the secretary-general of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine presented a video explanation of some of the urban, educational, intellectual and service projects established by the holy shrine.

Then, the ambassador and his accompanying delegation toured the corridors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), starting from the Holy Sanctuary and looking at the artistic and architectural touches that characterize it, followed by as a visit to the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts.

At the end of this visit, the Japanese ambassador stated to Al-Kafeel Network, "it is a great pleasure to visit the city of Karbala, which is one of the most important cities for Muslims and Iraq, as well as to visit the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and to listen and watch some of the projects it is carrying out, in various educational, heritage and urban sectors, in addition to the services it provides to visitors in particular, and society in general".

"These projects have impressed me and caught my attention, and I will have another future visit to see them in the field, and I congratulate the workers at the holy shrine for what they have achieved, and I wish them further development," said Kotaro.
