The procession of the people of Karbala heads to the shrine of Imam ar-Redha and his sister Lady al-Masoumah (peace be upon them)

The delegation of the procession of the people of Karbala to the shrine of Imam ar-Redha and his sister Lady al-Masoumah (peace be upon them), to commemorate and recall the martyrdom of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), which coincides with the twenty-fifth of the month of Shawwal.

The head of the Hussayni rites and processions department of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them); Sayed. Aqeel Abd al-Hussayn al-Yasiri, stated to Al-Kafeel Network, that "the procession of the people of Karbala has always commemorated and remembered events, whether inside or outside Karbala, including the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in the holy shrine of Imam ar-Redha and his sister Lady. al-Masoumah (peace be upon them), and the department has worked to prepare all organizational and coordinating matters for the performance of condolence and service rituals".

"The first stop of the procession will be at the shrine of Our Lady al-Masoumah daughter Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Qom, after which the procession will head to the holy city of Mashhad to visit the shrine of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him),"he added.

"There is a schedule of condolence and service prepared by the procession to commemorate this occasion, including the descent of a unified condolence procession in the two holy shrines, in addition to the provision of meals for mourners as well as the establishment of condolence councils in a number of hussayniyat in the city of Qom and Mashhad.”
