Training courses for the program “A Rescuer in every house”

The Al-Kafeel Academy for Paramedics and Medical Training, affiliated with the Department of Development and Sustainable Development at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has resumed its courses within the program (A Rescuer in every house) after a pause that lasted throughout the holy month of Ramadhan.

Captain Saif Abbas, one of the course trainers stated to Al-Kafeel Network, "The courses of this program which are dedicated to the employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, who have direct contact with the visitor, are important and qualitative courses".

"The course aims to prepare actors in the field of First Aid, who are able to deal with critical and urgent situations, as the training program is concerned with teaching trainees on life-saving skills," he added.

He explained that "the training program for these courses is an approved program divided into a number of training hours, and was twofold (theoretical and practical) and includes a variety of axes, the most important of which are: cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults, children and infants".

"It is necessary to spread the culture of First Aid at high levels among individuals, because it has become a necessity, whether while dealing with the visitor or the daily life in the community," Abbas said.

It should be noted that Al-Kafeel Academy for Paramedics and Medical Training conducts several courses related to first aid throughout the year, from which dozens of paramedics have graduated and have become active elements in this field to serve the community.
