The two holy shrines receive mourning processions on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)

In commemoration and in remembrance of the martyrdom of Imam Jaafar as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), the Karbala'i mourning processions arrived to the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) since the early hours of the morning, in order to offer their condolences on this sad occasion.

The march of mourning processions on the occasions of the martyrdom of the Imams (peace be upon them) begins early on each occasion, including the occasion of the commemoration of the martyrdom of the sixth Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). The servants of the two holy shrines and of the Department of the Hussayni Rites and Processions organize the movement of their mourning march, according to a schedule and plan developed for this purpose.

It is mentioned that the faithful followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in various parts of the world are commemorating this sad occasion, and extend their condolences to the Imam; the Master of the Order and the Time, Al-Hujjah Ibn Al-Hassan (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), for the martyrdom of his grandfather; Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), who was martyred by the most unjust ruler, as al-Mansur al-Dawaniqi killed him with a deadly poison, as a result of which the Imam (peace be upon him) was suffering until his martyrdom, on the twenty-fifth of Shawwal in the year 148 AH.
