The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concludes its annual Council of condolence to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)

On Friday evening (25th Shawwal 1443 AH) corresponding to (May 27, 2022) in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), concluded the annual mourning Council to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the sixth of the infallible imams; Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), which was organized by the division of the Hussayni oratory at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and lasted for three days with morning and evening lectures a day, in the presence of a number of visitors and the servants of the holy shrine.

The official of the division, Sheikh Abdul Saheb al-Taie, stated to Al-Kafeel Network that "this council is held annually within the project of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her), which is dedicated in part to commemorate the birth and martyrdom anniversaries of imams (peace be upon them), including this sad anniversary, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far son of Mohammad al-Sadeq (peace be upon him)".

He continued, "Two lectures were organized during the council, the first on the morning by Sheikh Mohammed Amin al-Tarfi, and the other on evening by the Sheikh Kadhem al-Bahadli, with the participation of the Radood Mahdi al-‘Abadi and Mortadha al-Hamidawi who chanted many lamentations, which embodied the injustice faced by Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)

He added, "The lectures were distributed in this way in order to shed more light on this great personality and his biography. The two speeches addressed many themes, the most important of which are the roles of the imam of as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), and the features of his great school, which produced thousands of students, in addition to addressing educational matters laid the foundations of his memory (peace be upon him), and how we make his curriculum an educational behavior in our daily life".
