Childhood and Youth Division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participates in the activities of the Karbala International Children's book exhibition with a variety of publications

The children and youth division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine media department participated in the fifth edition of the Karbala International Children's book exhibition, through a variety of publications, as the exhibition is held in the square between the Two Holy Shrines since Monday afternoon (28 Shawwal 1443AH) corresponding to (May 30, 2022), under the auspices and organization of the Department of child care and development at the Imam al-Hussayn’s (p) holy shrine, and lasts for ten days with local, Arab and international participation.

"The exhibition is one of the most important exhibitions specialized in the culture of children in Iraq, so we continue to participate in it and work to be distinctive and effective every time, through a pavilion that includes dozens of educational and cultural publications issued by the division, concerned with the culture of children and their upbringing and expand their perceptions and help to develop their ideas," said the official of the said Division, Mr. Hassanein Farouk.

He added that "the pavilion of the division included a variety of selected publications, the most important of which were distinctive issues of (Al-Rayahin magazine) aimed at Children, in addition to selected issues of (Haydara magazine) directed to the category of boys, as well as a set of series of stories, literary, scientific and cultural publications." He pointed out that "everything presented is a pure product by the staff of the division, ranging from authorship and design to print output, all of which aim to root and consolidate the constructive ideas of this category, which is the building block of society, and emulate it in a literary style characterized by ease and beauty, to make it an effective tool in the future through the development of intellectual and educational capabilities".

Adding "There was an active presence of a delegation from the media department at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which was held in the Hall of the Master of Guardians (peace be upon him) at the holy shrine of the Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and the pavilion witnessed the visit of its secretary general; Sayed Hasan Rashid Jawad, who praised this participation".
