Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launches summer Quranic courses project with the participation of more than 25,000 students

The Institute of the Holy Quran, affiliated to the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, launched this Wednesday morning, the project of summer Quranic courses with the participation of more than (25,000) students.

The director of the Institute, Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, stated to Al-Kafeel Network that "the launch of this project came after an almost complete interruption, which lasted for two years as a result of the repercussions of the corona epidemic, where the lessons of the project were given electronically".

He added that "the teaching seminars spread in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the Al-Ameed educational group, in addition to a number of mosques and hussayniyat of Karbala and other provinces of Iraq, such as Baghdad, Babylon, Diwaniyah, Muthanna and Hindiya district, under the supervision of a specialized Quranic cadre whose members were engaged in intensive courses before the start of the project".

Al-Nasrawi said that "the project provides lessons in (memorizing the Holy Quran, jurisprudence, doctrines, ethics, and the biography of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), in addition to cognitive and recreational programs offered to students, all of which aim to instill the culture of Taqalayn [the Two Holy weights; Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the Holy Quran] in the souls of young people".
