The first research session of the sixth edition of the Holy Defense fatwa festival

The activities of the first research session of the sixth edition of the Holy Defense fatwa festival began on Thursday afternoon at the imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba Hall (peace be upon him) at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alaa Jabr al-Mousawi, member of the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association, and witnessed the presentation of eight research papers, the first of which was entitled: (fatwas in defense of sovereignty) by Mr. Allama Mohammed Hussein Bahr al-Uloom/ Iraq.

The second research is entitled: (extremism and takfir, their effects on peaceful society) by Dr. Balsam Aziz, professor of fiqh studies at the University of Kufa/ Iraq.

This was followed by the third Research, which was entitled: (Religious Authority: Similarity of roles and unity of purpose: example of Sheikh al-Shari'a Al-Isfahani (1339_1920) and Sayed al-Sistani), by Professor Dr. Khalaf Bashir from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Basra, and assistant teacher Sattar Jalil Ajil from the education of Dhi Qar/ Iraq.

The fourth was entitled: (Study and analysis of the characteristics of human rights in the commandments of the fatwa of the Holy Defense of His Eminence Sayed al-Sistani with a focus on the verses and hadiths of the infallible), presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Asghar Tahmasbi al-Baldaji from the Islamic Republic of Iran-University of Al-Shahr Kurd-Department of modern Quranic Sciences.

The fifth research was under the title: (the difficulties of retribution against the perpetrators of Speicher's crime before the International and internal judiciary), presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ansam Qasim Hajim al-Aboudi from Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) College of Islamic sciences/ Babylon University, and assistant teacher Ammar Abdul Ali.

The sixth Research, entitled: (resources of agreement in the fatwa of jihad between the sheikh of Sharia Isfahani and Sayed al-Sistani in terms of scientific background, the general atmosphere and the results of the fatwa), was presented by Dr. Nafie Jamil Khalaf from Imam al-Kadhem college (peace be upon him) - Departments of Najaf Ashraf.

The session continued with a seventh Research entitled: (The Personality of Sayed al-Sistani through his speeches), presented by the teacher Dr. Ali Ismail Khalil from the Muthanna Education Directorate.

The session concluded with the eighth Research, entitled: (The crime of genocide in Speicher: Motives and goals), by researcher Abdul Khaliq Kadhem Ibrahim al-Omari from the Electoral Commission.
