Nizar Hassoun, a member of the lending unit at the library, said, "due to the large number of books and sources that talk about the topic of the Holy Defense fatwa and the Popular Mobilization, we have dedicated new shelves for these books.”

He added that "the number of books that talk about the fatwa and the Popular Mobilization is constantly increasing, as we receive many and multiple dedications of books, letters and University theses every month".

"The books donated to the Library and the House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine go through five organizational steps in order to enter them on the shelves of the library, namely:

The first step: one of the tasks of the lending unit is to receive books from the donor and give him a receipt with a book of thanks and appreciation from the library.

The second step: sending the books to the supply unit in order to Number them in stock.

Step Three: give each book a serial number with notarization of the title, author, publisher and date of printing.

The fourth step: classify the book by topic and give it a number (cage, Shelf, book), for easy access by library goers.

The fifth step: indexing the book according to the classification of the US Library of Congress, then photograph it and upload it to the library's website, to be included in the database of paper books".
