The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is covered in black to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him)

The walls of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine are covered in black in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Imam of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them); Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him), which is commemorated at the end of Dhu al-Qi'dah.

Banners of grief and sorrow were hang in the holy sanctuary recalling the hard impact of this sad event in the hearts of the members of the Mohammadian house (peace be upon them) and their lovers and followers.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, as usual in the martyrdom anniversaries of the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), prepared a mourning program to commemorate this great tragedy and sad anniversary.
