The activities of the imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) national Quranic competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran in the Iraqi and Egyptian ways, which was held by the Holy Quran Institute, the Babylon branch of the Holy Quran scientific complex at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, concluded yesterday, Sunday evening.
The conclusion of the competition, which was attended by (45) readers and memorizers from (15) Iraqi governorates in the conference hall in the city of Hilla in the province of Babylon, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader of the two holy shrines Falah Zulayf Atiyah.
This was followed by a speech of the head of the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, Professor Mushtaq al-Ali, in which he thanked the efforts that have been made to make the competition successful for two consecutive days, and on behalf of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, we extend the highest expressions of thanks and gratitude, to everyone who contributed to the success of this competition.
After that the results of the winners of the competition were announced, followed by honouring the members of the jury, the winners and all participants.
